We inform you that the data provided to the manager of this form when completing the request to participate in the conference will be processed in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and GDPR 2016/679.
The data is requested for the sole purpose of managing users' registration, organizing the event, and contacting the person who will participate.
This information concerns the personal data sent by the user when compiling the questionnaire.
1. Scientific coordinator and contact

2. Data Processor
The event registration data was collected via online forms made available by Google Forms. Therefore, Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), a company incorporated and operating under Irish law (Registration number: 368047), with offices at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland is appointed EXTERNAL DATA PROCESSOR with reference to the processing carried out by it (management of cloud data for Google Forms and associated services), pursuant to articles 4 and 28 of European Regulation 679/2016 and personal data protection regulations.
As described in the Privacy Shield certification, Google complies with both the regulations relating to the EU-US Privacy Shield and concerning the Swiss-US Privacy Shield, as established by the United States Department of Commerce in relation to the collection, use, and retention of personal information applicable respectively to member countries of the European Union and Switzerland.
Google is responsible for any personal information provided to third parties for external processing on its behalf under the Onward Transfer Principle, as described in the section concerning the sharing of users' information.

3. Types of Data Processed and Purposes
The data processed includes the data subject's name and surname, profession, institution of belonging, tax code (codice fiscale), and email address, necessary for profiling participants, providing adequate delivery of the seminar, creating entry passes, issuing the relative certificate of participation (if requested), and for all activities connected to the PRIN AI-EWT project (such as, for example, information relating to future conferences connected to the PRIN AI-EWT project).
The data sent will be used to allow participation in the conference and contact participants for further activities connected to the PRIN AI-EWT project.
The email address is required to contact the data subject for all the purposes already described.
Any indication of the tax code is required to issue the certificate of participation.
4. Processing and Access to Data
The data voluntarily transmitted by the data subject will be managed directly by Google through its proprietary applications linked to the Gmail email account, including Google Cloud Platform, documents, sheets, Forms, and other applications owned by Google and the partners it uses to create, store, and manage documents and attachments. Furthermore, the transmitted data will be used by the organizing committee of the AI-EWT conference for managing and creating access passes, sending any communications, and managing the attendance register and the issuing and printing of certificates.
Communications sent directly or indirectly to the Data Controller are primarily managed by Google's servers. The relative information transits and is stored through the HTTPS protocol (HyperText Protocol over SSL), a variant of the HTTP protocol that employs, for TCP/IP, the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) level which encrypts incoming and outgoing data through a mathematical algorithm.
All information voluntarily provided by the data subject may be transformed into an email, which can be kept inside the receiving system of the email service used by the site Controller.
The entered data may be recorded locally on further devices or supports (including paper), for all the management of the activity referred to in the previous point.
Navigation data for statistical purposes is processed only after analytics consent, in pseudonymised form and as described in the Cookie Policy.
5. Location of Data

6. Retention Period
The personal data collected for registration to the specific event will be kept limited to the period necessary for carrying out the activities of the PRIN AI-EWT project. After this period, the data will be deleted, unless its further storage is necessary to fulfill legal obligations, to comply with orders of public authorities, or to protect the legitimate interest of the data subject.
The data of the data subject who accepts to be informed about further initiatives relating to seminars, events, and workshops, will be kept for the sole purpose of operating the relative communications.
7. Consequences of failure to communicate
The communication of the data requested for registration is mandatory for all the purposes indicated above.
8. Rights of Data Subjects
The data subject can access information concerning him at any time and request its updating, correction, integration, and cancellation. He may also object in whole or in part to the processing.

The data subject also has the right to contact the Garante for the protection of personal data or other authority to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of his personal data.
